Getting there

Arrive by water or on foot

Most visitors come from the San Marco area. Walking from Piazza San Marco takes a couple of minutes; by vaporetto you will usually step off at a stop along the Riva degli Schiavoni or at San Marco, then walk to the waterfront side of the palace.
